Preparations
1.1 References
I started by getting some references of old wooden signs. This helped me understand how each sign can be built differently, whilst seeing what the different ways of showing old age can be.
Preparations
1.2 Sketching
Using Photoshop, I sketched out some variations of the sign shape and stick designs. I then took the features I liked from the variations and compiled it into one final concept. This was followed by drawing the mesh onto the final concept to visualize how many faces I see this model having.
